Recreation Fields


Borough of Sayreville Athletic Fields are by permit only.    Ordinance #950-06

In order to reserve the use of any of the Borough's athletic fields a permit must be obtained
by providing written notice of to the Borough's Recreation Department at least four (4)
weeks in advance of the event when practical. The applicant shall complete a Facility Use Request Form
and return it to the Sayreville Recreation Department accompanied by all required paperwork
(Certificate of Insurance, Complete Roster,etc.) before permit can be approved.

Borough residents and Borough athletic organizations having at least a 51% membership of
Borough residents shall have priority regarding the use of all Borough athletic fields not funded
under Green Acers Program.

Fee Governing the use of Athletic Fields
 
Fees shall not be applicable to those organizations subsidized by the Borough of Sayreville,
Sayreville Little League, Sayreville Soccer Assoc, Sayreville Athletic Assoc, Sayreville Leprechauns
and Morgan/Parlin Panthers.

Fees:                        Fields without lights      $50.00     per two hour session
                                 Fields with lights          $75.00     per two hour session

A team comprised of a percentage of Sayreville residents shall have fees prorated and waived
in direct proportion to the amount os Sayreville residents comprising the team.
Example, if a team has 50% of Sayreville residents, than 50% of the fee shall be waved.

All fees are payable to the Sayreville Recreation Department and are payable prior to the
issuance of any permits for field or park use.
